BOS adds NSUS Malta, operator of GGPoker, as new member
The Swedish Trade Association for Online Gambling now counts 18 members as it looks to bring more poker expertise into policy debates.
The Swedish Trade Association for Online Gambling (BOS) has elected NSUS Malta Ltd, the company behind poker brand GGPoker, as a new member. BOS said NSUS holds a Swedish gambling license.
With the addition, BOS now has 18 members. The association’s current membership list is published on its website.
“We are always happy to welcome new members. However, it is with particular pleasure that we welcome NSUS. This is due to their special expertise in the online poker segment, which is not highlighted in the regulatory debate as often as betting and online casino. We hope for a change in this, and we are convinced that NSUS will contribute with a lot of knowledge to us as an association as well as to other stakeholders who have an impact on the Swedish gambling market,” says Gustaf Hoffstedt, Secretary General, BOS.
“Sweden has a proud and influential legacy in poker and has played an important role in shaping the modern game. Joining BOS allows NSUS to build on that tradition and reflects our commitment to being a responsible and constructive participant in Sweden’s regulated gaming market. We look forward to working alongside other members of the association and contributing to a sustainable environment for our beloved game. Our poker brand, GGPoker, is proud to put players at the heart of what we do: offering a great place to compete and enjoy the game, while supporting the continued growth and development of poker in Sweden,” says Sarne Lightman, Managing Director of NSUS Group.
