Playson releases Coin Strike XXL: Multicoin with returning MULTICOIN mechanic

Playson has released Coin Strike XXL: Multicoin, introducing a new entry in its Coin Strike series that brings back the supplier’s MULTICOIN mechanic, the company said in a statement.

According to Playson, the lightning-branded MULTICOIN symbols trigger the MULTICOIN feature when they land alongside any Coin symbol, collecting the values of coins in play and applying a random multiplier of up to x20 to the accumulated value. The company added that when Coin symbols land without a MULTICOIN, a MULTICOIN can be randomly added to reel two, which can activate the MULTICOIN feature or provide an additional route to the bonus game.

The release also includes the Collect feature, which Playson said is triggered by landing a Strike Coin symbol alongside any Coin symbol and then collects the values of all Coins on screen, including Jackpot Coins, for the current spin in the main game or the total win in the bonus game. Playson said four jackpots — from a x15 Mini to a x1,000 Grand — can be triggered during both the MULTICOIN and Collect features via corresponding jackpot coins.

Playson said the bonus game is triggered by Coin symbols on reels one and three alongside a Strike Coin or MULTICOIN, and runs on a respin mechanic where only Coins, sticky Strike Coins and sticky MULTICOINS appear. The company also described a Pile of Gold feature that can be randomly triggered by any Coin landing on the reels and can add Coins, Strike Coins or MULTICOINS “in quantity” to launch the bonus game.
