CryptoSlots and Slotland add UFO-themed slot Close Encounters

CryptoSlots.com and Slotland have launched Close Encounters, a new UFO-themed online slot, with launch promotions running from Aug. 21, 2026, according to the operators.

The game is a 4-reel, 14-payline slot set at an Area 51-style military base, featuring varying symbol sizes and wagers ranging from $0.28 to $7, the companies said. The title includes a Wild symbol that can transform into an “Explosive Wild,” which multiplies onto adjacent symbols before wins are evaluated, and a “Double Wild” on reel four that can double winning paylines.

Additional features include a “Mystery Scatter” that reveals either a random coin win or a win multiplier, and a “UFO Pick Me” bonus that triggers when three scatters land across reels 1–3, offering three chances to uncover coin prizes, according to the release.

CryptoSlots said its version of Close Encounters is VR-friendly and will be added to its library of “80+ VR-friendly games.” The companies also said the title will be featured at WinADay.

As part of the launch, CryptoSlots is offering 40 free spins via bonus code FREE40 and a match bonus tiered up to 111% via bonus code OUTTHERE, with the promotion listed as valid Aug. 21–28, 2026. Slotland is offering 50 free spins via bonus code ARRIVAL and a match bonus listed as “125% Match for VIPs” and “100% for ALL players” via bonus code DISCLOSURE, with the promotion listed as valid Aug. 21–30, 2026.
