Habanero launches Battle The Beast slot with expanding reels and respins

Habanero has launched Battle The Beast, a new high-volatility slot that pits Viking Wilds against the Beast Scatter in reel-changing duels, the company said.

According to Habanero, when a duel is won, the victorious symbol expands across the entire reel to create additional winning chances. The game also includes a respin mechanic in which multiple Beast symbols spreading across separate reels lock the reels for a free Respin, with enough chained encounters triggering the Free Games bonus.

In the Free Games feature, Habanero said a full Wild reel “roams” across spins, while each Viking victory increases a global multiplier that remains active until the bonus ends.

Battle The Beast supports Habanero’s Jackpot Race™, Buy Feature and Super Bet, the company said, positioning the release for operators offering different gameplay and stake options.

Toni Karapetrov, Head of Corporate Communications at Habanero, said: "Battle The Beast introduces a mechanic that gives every encounter real impact with each duel having the potential to change the direction of a spin. As players progress, the roaming Wild reel and growing global multiplier add another layer to the experience.

"It's another strong addition to our portfolio, bringing together a distinctive theme and engaging gameplay that we believe will resonate with operators and players alike."
