Plaza Hotel & Casino opens new High Limit Slots Room in downtown Las Vegas
The 2,000 sq. ft. space on the main casino floor has more than 50 slot games and adds Acres cashless gaming plus dedicated guest services.
Plaza Hotel & Casino has officially opened a new High Limit Slots Room on its main casino floor in downtown Las Vegas, the property said on Aug. 24, 2026.
The 2,000 sq. ft. room includes more than 50 slot machines with higher maximum bets, along with dedicated staff and a concierge desk. According to the company, top-tier players in the Plaza’s Players Club can also check in to their hotel room from inside the high-limit area.
“With the new High Limit Slots Room, we wanted to not only provide the newest and most popular games with higher limits but also focus on personalized customer service, such as hotel check-in and a dedicated concierge desk,” said Jonathan Jossel, CEO of the Plaza Hotel & Casino. “The Plaza continues to diversify its offerings to meet the changing needs of our guests. We specifically have seen our slot business continue to grow as we are welcoming more higher-end players and many of our longstanding guests have asked for this gaming amenity.”
All machines in the room are equipped with Acres Cashless Gaming, which the Plaza said is compatible with Apple Pay and other electronic payments. The company also cited unattended jackpots for faster payouts, an on-site ATM/TITO redemption machine, dedicated cocktail service, and a self-serve station of complimentary nonalcoholic beverages.
To mark the opening, Plaza said it has partnered with social media influencer Travel Ruby for a $10,000 slot tournament scheduled for Friday, Aug. 28 and Saturday, Aug. 29. The high-limit room is open 24/7, according to the property.
