Team Vitality finishes third at Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris

Team Vitality said it secured third place in the Club Championship at the Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, France, marking a second consecutive third-place finish and earning a $4 million cash prize.

The organisation said it competed across 17 of the event’s 22 titles and finished the competition with 3,300 points. Team Vitality listed point contributions from 11 rosters, including MLBB Women (1,000 points) and Trackmania (500 points), alongside 200-point results in VALORANT, Fatal Fury, PUBG, MLBB Men, Honor of Kings, Tekken 8, Rocket League, Crossfire and Counter-Strike 2.

"To remain among the absolute elite of global esports year after year requires an extraordinary level of excellence, resilience, and passion. Huge congratulations to all our teams and players and a special mention to our MLBB women's team!" said Fabien "Neo" Devide, Co-Founder and CEO of Team Vitality. "Even though we didn't manage to win all the titles we hoped for, other teams stepped up when we needed them most and allowed us to maintain our place on the podium. This is precisely where the concept of a club truly comes into its own: when one team needs it, another takes over. It's this collective strength that makes Team Vitality so successful."

Team Vitality highlighted its MLBB women’s roster as a key contributor, saying it won the MLBB Women’s Invitational for a second straight year. The organisation also said its Trackmania player Thomas "Pac" Cole secured a top-three Grand Final result that provided points to keep Vitality in third place ahead of NAVI.

"We've secured this fantastic Top 3 finish: mission accomplished! This success is especially significant because we achieved this exceptional performance in Paris, in front of our home crowd. None of this would have been possible without the immense collective effort of all the club's teams, our fans and their legendary passion, as well as our loyal partners, who supported us throughout these seven weeks of competition. We continue to build together," said Nicolas Maurer, Co-Founder and CSO of Team Vitality. Danny Engels, CIO of Team Vitality, added: "Concluding the Esports World Cup here in Paris with a Top 3 finish for the second year in a row is a source of satisfaction for Team Vitality. And this year, the challenge was even greater: the competition has never been so fierce, with more and more organisations, notably Team Falcons and All Gamers, investing heavily to win the Club Championship," and said the organisation would "return to work with undiminished ambition" ahead of 2027.
