Broadway Platform launches BroadGuard risk management tool

Broadway Platform has launched BroadGuard, a risk management tool it says provides real-time player risk profiling across more than 60 parameters. The company announced the product as an addition to its broader platform ecosystem.

According to Broadway Platform, BroadGuard’s fingerprinting and profiling capabilities can capture data points including IP address, device geolocation, operating system, device type, screen resolution and browser, alongside other parameters. The company said the tool consolidates operator data in a back office environment to support reporting across payments, alerts, deposits and withdrawals, as well as behavioural indicators.

Broadway Platform said BroadGuard uses a rule engine to score players based on actions and risk indicators, allowing operators to monitor alerts and make real-time decisions. Based on player scores, operators can apply actions such as setting limits, blocking specific activities or restricting access to bonuses.

Giorgi Samkharadze, Director at Broadway Platform, said: "When we built BroadGuard, our priority was to create a solution that seamlessly connects the entire ecosystem. All player data is now consolidated within a single database, allowing information and documentation to be analysed within seconds and transformed into actionable insights. This enables our partners to make informed, transparent, and fully auditable decisions while keeping player protection at the core of our product suite.

"Our goal was to reduce the fraud ratio to below 1%. We achieved this objective and, in some of the most challenging fraud environments in Africa, particularly in Mozambique and Ghana, we also reduced the withdrawal-to-deposit ratio by 10%, helping operators strengthen risk management, improve operational efficiency, and create a safer player experience."
