Slotland player wins $226,217 jackpot on Ice Queen after 30 minutes

Slotland says a player identified as Kate O. (username KATIE101) won a $226,217.64 jackpot on its fantasy-themed slot Ice Queen on August 12, 2026. The operator said the win came around 30 minutes into an evening session at home.

“I was stunned and thought I must be reading the amount incorrectly,” said Kate. “I checked the screen several times before calling my husband over to make sure I was seeing it right. It took some time for the size of the win to sink in.”

Slotland said Kate has played with the casino for more than eight years and is a Silver VIP player. It added that she typically plays a few times a week, favouring fantasy and adventure-themed titles including Ice Queen, Gods of Egypt, Alice in Wonderland and Eight Unicorns.

Michael Hilary, Slotland Manager, said: “We’re absolutely delighted for Kate, particularly after more than eight years as a Slotland player. A win of this size is an incredible moment, and we’re thrilled to see a long-standing member of our community experience such a life-changing jackpot.”

According to Slotland, Kate plans to use the winnings to pay down her family mortgage, set aside funds for the future, take a holiday with her husband and support her children. She added that she does not believe there is a strategy to predict slot wins and said she sets a spending limit and treats slots as entertainment rather than chasing losses.
