Belatra releases pirate-themed slot Yo-ho-ho 2048

Belatra has released Yo-ho-ho 2048, a new pirate-themed online slot, the company said in a press release.

According to Belatra, the game plays on a 5x5 grid with 3,125 ways to win and is billed as very high volatility, with a stated top prize of 10,000x.

Belatra said the main mechanic is based on the 2048 puzzle format, with coins dropping in at values from 0.25x to 2048x. When no Chest is present, matching coins merge into a symbol worth double the value; when a Chest lands next to active coins, it collects the total, multiplies it by the bet and pays out, then turns into a Wild, the company said.

The company said Free Games trigger on three, four or five Scatters for 10, 12 or 14 spins, with additional Scatters increasing the total up to 30 spins. During Free Games, Wilds become sticky and unclaimed coins can persist between spins until collected by a Chest, Belatra said. The slot also includes a Harpoon feature that offers up to three paid attempts to land a Chest when coins worth 100x or more remain after a spin, with stated odds of 1 in 10, then 1 in 8, then 1 in 7.

Belatra said Hot Mode triggers when five Scatters land in the base game, converting those triggers into high-value coins and guaranteeing at least one Chest before the feature ends. The title also includes a Bet +25% option intended to increase Scatter frequency and the odds of reaching Hot Mode, along with Buy Bonus access to standard Free Games or Hot Mode, the company said.
