Banijay Gaming has announced the appointment of Antoine Jouteau as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 1 September 2026. Nicolas Béraud will remain Non-Executive Chairman of the Board, and Joachim Baca, non-executive Vice-Chairman.
This appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Banijay Gaming, the leading sports betting operator in Continental Europe, as the company enters a new phase of growth following the completion of its combination with Tipico Group and its planned acquisition of JOA. Bringing together Betclic, Tipico and Admiral, Banijay Gaming now encompasses leading brands across six regulated markets, serves nearly 6.5 million unique active players annually, and benefits from complementary digital and omnichannel capabilities.
As CEO, Antoine Jouteau will be responsible for defining Banijay Gaming’s strategy, combining organic growth with targeted acquisitions. His priorities will include establishing an operating model that reflects the Group’s ambitions, accelerating growth across its existing regulated markets, increasing market share, and strengthening customer-focused innovation by leveraging the combined strengths of Betclic, Tipico and Admiral.
Antoine Jouteau brings more than twenty years of experience leading the growth and transformation of technology companies, from start-ups to publicly listed businesses. After holding leadership positions at TDF and PagesJaunes, he joined Leboncoin in 2009 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2015. Under his leadership, the platform experienced exceptional growth, driven by business diversification and the launch of new services, establishing itself as one of France’s leading digital success stories. Appointed CEO of Adevinta in 2022, the international group behind brands including Mobile.de, Leboncoin and Kleinanzeigen, he supported the company’s growth across Europe before returning to lead Leboncoin in 2024, where he oversaw several key development and transformation initiatives.
His track record reflects a strong business and execution mindset, a proven ability to drive growth and innovation, and deep expertise in technology, particularly in data and artificial intelligence. Combined with the gaming expertise already embedded within Betclic, Tipico and Admiral, his experience will be instrumental in building a leading global player in the industry.
