Jaime “Craime” Bustos won Street Fighter 6 at Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris on August 1, taking the title for Team Falcons and, according to the organizer, becoming the youngest Esports World Cup (EWC) champion at 15 years, two months, and 25 days old.
Bustos beat Japan’s Hibiki 5-2 in the grand final, ending a Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) run that saw Hibiki advance to the main event as one of five players from a 269-competitor LCQ field. The press release noted Hibiki was the oldest player in the top eight at 30.
On the way to the title, Bustos dropped a single game in groups before moving through the bracket. In the quarterfinals, he defeated EVO 2026 winner Saul Leonardo “MenaRD” Mena II 5-3, then eliminated EVO Japan 2026 winner Eisuke “Yamaguchi” Yamaguchi in the semifinals.
With the win, Bustos earned $250,000, qualification for Capcom Cup 13, and 1,000 Club Championship points for Team Falcons. The organizer said the result moved Team Falcons to the top of the Club Championship standings as of Saturday.
Bustos said, “I’m very, very happy for my win, and I can’t wait to go back to Chile. This isn’t just me, this is everyone who comes in and helps me. I can’t wait to share this with them.”
