FDJ UNITED Announces Appointment of Virginie Christnacht as Director of Communications

 

FDJ UNITED has announced the appointment of Virginie Christnacht as Group Communications Director effective September 14.

In this capacity, Virginie Christnacht will join the Group’s Executive Committee and will be tasked with defining and implementing FDJ UNITED’s communication strategy, strengthening its reputation and visibility in France and internationally, as well as supporting the continued transformation of the Group and the execution of its strategic plan.

Her in-depth knowledge of media, institutional, and international issues will contribute to enhancing FDJ UNITED’s visibility with all its stakeholders,” said Stéphane Pallez, President and CEO of FDJ UNITED.

Virginie Christnacht was previously Senior Managing Director at the international consulting firm Teneo, where she supported French and international executives and executive committees in their strategic communication, reputation, crisis management and public affairs issues.

From 2018 to 2023, Virginie Christnacht served as Director of Communications and a member of the Executive Committee of Eurazeo. In this role, she led the investment group’s communication strategy during a period of transformation, spearheaded the rollout of a new brand platform and strengthened its visibility both in France and internationally.

Previously, Virginie Christnacht held several senior positions within French public institutions. Director of the Government Information Service between 2017 and 2018, she also served as Deputy Advisor in charge of press relations at the Presidency of the Republic between 2014 and 2017.

She began her career in the private sector, notably at Vinci, as well as within CNP Assurances and Dexia.

Virginie Christnacht holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Paris I and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Legal Counsel.
