Blueprint Gaming has released The Goonies™ Cash Inferno, a new title in its The Goonies™ branded slot franchise featuring a new Cash Inferno Money Collect-style mechanic alongside updated Skeleton Key features and changes to bonus play.
In base play, Cash Inferno is triggered by landing coloured Skeleton Keys with a Goonies Never Say Die symbol on reels one and/or six, which then collects prizes from a “golden panel” to the left of the reels, according to the company. Blueprint Gaming said different key colours apply different modifiers: Green Keys collect a single cash value when they land, Blue Keys can collect up to five values at once, and Red Keys include multipliers that increase collected prizes.
The game also brings back the Treasure Trail feature, where Green Gems advance progress toward rewards. Blueprint Gaming said four milestones award bonus picks that carry into the bonus game, while completing the trail grants bonus access. The company added that three bonus scatter symbols trigger Inferno Spins, while four scatters automatically complete the Treasure Trail and launch the feature with any remaining unlocked bonus picks.
During Inferno Spins, only key symbols, Goonies Never Say Die symbols and bonus symbols remain in play, Blueprint Gaming said. The company added that “Golden One-Eyed Willy” can appear in the feature, unlocking up to four upgrade levels that increase Cash Inferno values as the bonus progresses.
