Fortuna Sponsors the Speedway World Cup Final

 

Fortuna has become a sponsor of the 2026 BOLL FIM Speedway World Cup – Warsaw, the final of which will take place on August 29 at the PGE National Stadium. The announcement was made during a press conference of the Polish Speedway National Team. Organizers also presented the current state of preparations for the tournament and the Polish national team’s goals ahead of the final in Warsaw.

During a press conference held by the Polish Speedway National Team, it was confirmed that Fortuna has become a sponsor of the Speedway Team World Cup final. The tournament will take place on August 29, 2026, at the PGE National Stadium in Warsaw. The announcement was made in the presence of representatives of the Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, the stadium operator, and Polish representatives.

The organisers also presented the current state of preparations for the competition. Poland, Australia and the UK have already secured a place in the final. The final spot will go to the winner of the second semi-final, which will be held in Riga, with Latvia, Denmark, Sweden and Norway participating.

The team is aiming for a gold medal

Representatives of the Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Association (PZM) have clearly defined the team’s sporting goal ahead of next year’s finals. PZM President Michał Sikora emphasised that the team will strive solely for victory, with the added bonus of performing in front of a home crowd at the largest stadium in the country.

Coach Stanisław Chomski announced that the coaching staff is already working on the final squad. Currently, the senior squad consists of fourteen senior players, and the riders’ performance is constantly monitored. The coach emphasised that the start at the PGE National Stadium should be a motivation for the riders, not an additional burden.
