Big Time Gaming releases Fruit Merge Megapots slot

Big Time Gaming has released Fruit Merge Megapots™, a new slot that reworks classic fruit symbols around a Hold and Spin feature, merging mechanics and a three-tier Megapots™ prize structure.

The Hold and Spin feature triggers when six or more Fruit or Coin symbols land anywhere on the reels. Players start with three respins, with each symbol position turning into a mini reel. Additional Fruit or Coin symbols reset the respin counter. The game’s Mini, Midi and Mega MegapotsTM prizes are linked to collecting three corresponding MegapotCoins.

The title also includes a merge mechanic: matching three identical fruit symbols triggers a merge that moves symbols through four tiers until they become Megapot Coins.

Free Spins trigger with three or more Scatter symbols, awarding 12 Free Spins. During the feature, Fruits and Coins remain locked in place until the next spin if Hold and Spin does not trigger, while an “unlimited win multiplier” increases with every Fruit and Coin that lands, according to the company.

For direct access to features, BTG said Fruit Merge Megapots™ includes Bonus Buy options: instant access to Hold and Spin for 35x the stake, or 12 Free Spins for 85x the stake. BTG lists the game RTP at 96.19%.

Nik Robinson, CEO of Big Time Gaming, said: “Fruit symbols are as old as slots themselves, but we’ve never been content with simply recreating what came before. WIthFruit Merge Megapots™, we wanted to ask what happens when you take a familiar format and blow it wide open with layers of strategy and explosive MegapotsTM potential.

“The merge mechanic is something players are going to experience in a completely new way, and we can’t wait to see them launch into galactic wins.”
