BoscaSports, the Irish technology company, has appointed Chris Cousin to the newly-created role of Chief Commercial Officer. BoscaSports has further expanded its senior leadership and governance structure by adding Russell Ferris to the Company’s Board.
Cousin joins from iGameMedia on June 1, where he has served as Commercial Director for the past four years, following senior commercial roles at Perform and STATS Perform.
As CCO, Cousin will lead the commercial strategy for the enlarged group, with a remit focused on scaling revenues, deepening international reach, and realising the full value of the “transformational” integration of 2DB’s video, data and streaming capabilities.
Eugene Mitchell, CEO of BoscaSports, said: “Chris brings a wealth of experience and sector expertise to BoscaSports. Following the acquisition of 2DB, we now have a stronger, more scalable platform and an expanded product suite. Chris will lead and shape our global commercial strategy as we drive growth across our core markets and expand internationally. I am delighted to welcome him to the BoscaSports team and wish him every success in this exciting new chapter for both him and the business.”
Cousin said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Bosca Group as CCO at such an exciting stage of its growth. My focus will be on building a commercial strategy that strengthens our market position, deepens client relationships, and drives sustainable growth – particularly as the acquisition of 2DB accelerates the expansion of the Groups product development and technical solutions offering.”
Nick Mills, CEO of Racecourse Media Group, said: “We are delighted that Chris has chosen to join BoscaSports, and this supports RMG’s increased investment in the expanded BoscaSports group after its acquisition of 2DB. Chris is well known to the RMG business, having worked with us for over 10 years in his roles at Perform, STATS Perform and iGameMedia, and we think his appointment will be transformational for BoscaSports in this important phase of their growth.”
