XGENIA today released XGENIA v2, its iGaming platform, as open source, publishing the code at github.com/XgeniaORG/XGENIA.
The company said the release covers its runtime engine, math modeling system, asset pipeline, game-creation workflows, and developer tooling. XGENIA added that studios, operators, and developers can fork the code, run it on their own infrastructure, and “own every line of the foundation their business runs on.”
XGENIA’s AI layers are not included in the open-source drop. The company said those components remain proprietary and are delivered separately as its commercial offering.
In the announcement, XGENIA positioned the move as a response to common iGaming platform constraints, including licensing and IP lock-in, long vendor-driven development cycles, limited access for AI tooling, and math models that are difficult to inspect. It also cited integration friction and vendor dependency as business risks for studios and operators.
