Just Slots releases Shadow Pirates with new 2XCOIN mechanic

Just Slots has launched Shadow Pirates, a new online slot built on a 6×4 reel grid with 4096 ways to win. The supplier said the game is the first 4096-ways title in its 2026 roadmap and introduces a new collection mechanic branded 2XCOIN™, with a stated max win potential of x10,000.

The core feature centers on coin symbols that appear on the middle reels with individual values. Just Slots said high-value coin symbols can reach up to 1,000× the bet, before collector symbols on the outer reels expand to trigger a “VS-style” collection event that determines which coins are captured and what multiplier is applied.

The studio added that if two expanding collector symbols of the same colour land simultaneously on reels 1 and 6 in the same spin, matching coloured coin symbols are collected twice. Free Spins are triggered by Scatter symbols and use sticky coin behaviour, while additional options include HotSpin, which the company said increases the chance of triggering Free Spins, and a Bonus Buy.

Josué Agüero, Senior Game Producer at Just Slots, said: “The visual identity was built directly around the rivalry mechanic, combining a treasure-chase narrative with darker supernatural styling and feature moments designed to heighten suspense.”

Shadow Pirates had an exclusive pre-release on Roobet ahead of wider rollout, according to the company. A Stake.com promotion, “Stake vs Eddie”, is scheduled to run from 11 to 18 May, and Just Slots said a public demo will be available on just-slots.com and via partner and affiliate sites.
