Playson promotes Kateryna Oliinyk to CFO

Former deputy CFO steps up after joining the iGaming supplier in 2021, with a remit spanning reporting, controls and market expansion including LatAm.

Playson has promoted Kateryna Oliinyk to Chief Financial Officer (CFO), elevating its former Deputy CFO as the supplier moves into its next phase of expansion.

Oliinyk joined Playson in 2021 and has held several senior finance roles. The company said she has worked on strengthening the financial control environment, improving reporting processes and supporting growth across multiple regulated markets.

In the CFO role, Oliinyk will lead the finance function and oversee financial reporting, management accounting, treasury and cash flow management, and tax planning and compliance. Playson said she will also focus on improving financial systems and controls, including automation and standardisation.

Playson added that Oliinyk will support strategic initiatives including budgeting, forecasting, risk assessment and financial modelling, and will be involved in expansion into new markets “including across LatAm,” working with local partners, banks, advisors and regulators.
