SkillOnNet partners with ClearStake to transform EDD and source of funds

SkillOnNet has announced a strategic partnership with ClearStake to streamline enhanced due diligence (EDD) and source of funds processes across its portfolio of brands, including PlayOJO.

The collaboration leverages ClearStake’s bank-based verification technology, replacing manual, document-heavy checks with real-time assessments and automated workflows. This approach reduces operational burden, accelerates decision-making, and creates a smoother experience for players.

ClearStake’s platform incorporates a gambling-specific intelligence layer, allowing operators to configure which checks to request, when to request them, and how to automate outcomes. The rollout is initially focused on the UK, with plans to extend into additional regulated markets globally.

Eyal Naor, COO of SkillOnNet, said: “Enhanced due diligence is central to sustainable growth in regulated markets. ClearStake allows us to strengthen controls while improving speed and consistency across the player journey.”

Martin Burt, CEO of ClearStake, added: “EDD is a core revenue, risk, and operational challenge for operators. Our platform optimizes these processes, enabling faster, better decisions without relying on manual document checks.”

This partnership highlights a broader trend in the industry, where operators are increasingly adopting automated verification solutions to protect margins, scale efficiently, and maintain compliance in demanding regulatory environments. Recent deployments of ClearStake by other leading UK brands underscore its growing adoption across the market.
