Soft2Bet launches Lodur, a Viking-inspired Swedish casino and sportsbook

From payments to content, Lodur is designed around how Swedish players prefer a seamless, locally tailored gaming experience. The platform supports popular local payment methods, highlights the sports events Swedish audiences follow most closely, and features localised Live Slots that present live dealer entertainment with a Swedish-first approach across both desktop and mobile.

A defining element of Lodur is its Island system, a persistent progression layer that continues across sessions. Alongside sports betting and casino gameplay, users develop a personal island settlement by constructing new buildings and upgrading existing ones to expand functionality.

The Island system operates on social casino mechanics. Players earn resources through gameplay and use them to build structures, strengthen their settlement, and unlock new progression paths. Each upgrade introduces fresh objectives and rewards, transforming short play sessions into long-term development.

Within Soft2Bet’s Lodur ecosystem, competitive play is enhanced through a PvP simulation that encourages rivalry and repeat engagement. Players can raid other islands, defend their own settlement, and refine strategies as they advance. With no defined endpoint, Lodur is built for continuous progression, where building, raiding, and upgrading form an ongoing gameplay loop.

Lodur is powered by MEGA (Motivational Engineering Gaming Application), Soft2Bet’s engagement engine that introduces missions, challenges, and narrative-driven journeys across casino and sportsbook experiences, supporting deeper retention through purposeful and reward-driven play.

Yoel Zuckerberg, Chief Product Officer at Soft2Bet, stated: “Lodur shows what our product toolkit can do when Soft2Bet’s MEGA is applied to social mechanics and PvP progression. We have built a journey that keeps players building, competing and returning to Lodur, without adding friction to the core experience.”

With Lodur, Soft2Bet continues to invest in brands designed specifically for local markets, combining distinct creative identities with high-quality UX, performance-driven delivery, and compliance-by-design to provide players with a secure and market-appropriate experience.
