Thunderkick’s Second Thunder Brings a Mythic Norse Tempest

Independent slots developer Thunderkick has further expanded its mythology-themed slot offerings with the debut of Second Thunder, which channels the celestial strength of storm deity Thor onto the reels.

Set in a realm nearing Ragnarök, a battle between iconic fighters and mythical creatures takes place on the 6×5 field, as a Feature Row creates opportunities with each spin.

Set at the top of the reels, the Feature Row can trigger on any spin, releasing wilds, scatters, or multipliers up to 10x to boost winning possibilities.

The beloved Wild Field feature is back, ramping up the excitement even more. When wild symbols appear on two or more reels, a zone is created that links them, turning all symbols in that space into wilds.

By landing three scatters, the bonus round can be activated, providing an initial set of five free spins, and each additional scatter beyond the third grants two more spins. The Feature Row stays active throughout the round, activating additional modifiers and revealing a massive 12,500x win potential.

A variety of ante wagers provides players increased influence over the grand tale. Thunderstorm spins form a Wild Field for each bet, while the activation of Thor spins ensures the Feature Row becomes active. Additionally, the Bonus Boost and Bonus Boost Plus features enhance the likelihood of triggering the bonus round by 2x or 5x, accordingly.

Second Thunder highlights Thunderkick’s distinctive creative style, featuring video game-inspired visuals and 3D lightning bolt animations that enhance engagement. Incorporated with multi-layered mechanics and substantial payout possibilities, the game showcases the studio’s dedication to providing high-impact slots for operators.

Mike Collins, Game Product Owner at Thunderkick, said: “Norse mythology has inspired creative storytelling for centuries, and we wanted to channel that energy into a slot that delivers both spectacle for the player and commercial value for our partners.

“Second Thunder further diversifies our mythology collection, blending bold visuals with feature-rich gameplay and meaningful player choice to create a powerful experience that truly stands out.”
