Wazaa Bet goes live with QTech Games in Sierra Leone; reports early Q1 success story

Wazaa Bet, a leading operator in Sierra Leone, has reported impressive growth in turnover, player engagement, and retention after going live with the QTech Games aggregation platform in Q4 2025.

The operator saw a 58% increase in total turnover in December, followed by an additional 49% growth in January, with its active player base expanding 30% by February. This surge is driven by strong performance across its igaming portfolio, notably the high-engagement Aviator Rain. Other top providers available via QTech integration include Spribe, Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Blueprint Gaming, and TaDa Gaming. Standout titles during this period also included Aviator, Blackjack X Emerald, Fist Of Destruction, Ze Zeus, and Chicken Dash.

Focused on Sierra Leone, Wazaa Bet has leveraged localized engagement strategies and curated content to deliver a seamless, player-focused experience. The partnership with QTech Games allows Wazaa Bet to provide an optimized user journey with authentic, appealing content for modern African players. Plans are also underway to explore sportsbook and casino cross-sell opportunities ahead of the summer World Cup, a major driver for acquisition and retention in Africa.

Agatha Wanjugu, QTech Games’ Sales Manager for the region, said: “It’s a privilege to be selected by a brand as respected as Wazaa Bet. Our approach combines great content with hyper-local market knowledge to drive sustainable growth. In high-growth regions like Sierra Leone, understanding player behaviour, mobile usage, and local preferences is key. Our platform gives Wazaa Bet access to a broad portfolio of content, and these early Q1 results demonstrate the effectiveness of our strategy.”

The Wazaa Bet team added: “After evaluating multiple aggregators, QTech Games offered the best provider variety, front-end features, and fast support. We look forward to continuing our partnership and launching soon in the DRC. The technical and promotions teams have been instrumental to this success.”

QTech Games’ platform leverages proprietary technology and data-driven insights to optimize performance for operators and suppliers. With a local African team, QTech ensures market-specific strategies are executed effectively, allowing operators like Wazaa Bet to capitalize on emerging trends and evolving player demands.
