Golden Whale Rolls Out BonusPilot to Automate and Optimize Real-Time Incentives for iGaming Operators

Golden Whale, a provider of machine learning and data-focused optimization technology for the iGaming sector, has introduced BonusPilot, a new feature within its Foundation platform that allows operators to handle intricate combinations of player incentives using real-time intelligence powered by AI and machine learning.
BonusPilot is created to work with any system setup, analyzing real-time behavioral data from games, campaigns, and CRM activities to identify the best timing, value, and type of incentive for each player. The outcome is a shift from wide, planned campaigns to independently tailored and constantly evolving incentive approaches – a step toward Full Model Control (FMC) for iGaming operations.
Eberhard Dürrschmid, CEO at Golden Whale, said: “This system solves one of the central problems of CRM and engagement. Traditional bonus optimisation forces CRM teams to figure out what is essentially a multi-dimensional problem that’s impossible to manage manually at scale. BonusPilot handles that complexity automatically, recommending the right incentives at the right moment with far greater precision and consistency. In early deployments, we’ve already seen dynamic, data-driven incentives massively outperform fixed campaigns across participation, activity and long-term player value.”
BonusPilot functions effectively and can be tailored to all incentive types present in an operator’s inventory, ranging from bonus funds and free spins to loyalty coins or bespoke rewards in gamification platforms. Each interaction contributes to Golden Whale’s unique LOOPS architecture, a constantly evolving learning system that adjusts recommendations as player behavior shifts. This guarantees that incentives stay pertinent, impactful, and in line with sustainable value.
Responsible involvement is also incorporated into the design. BonusPilot can implement guardrails at both the system and operator levels to ensure that incentives stay suitable and can identify potential bonus misuse by restricting or stopping offers when necessary.

Dürrschmid added: “Our goal is not just to increase bonus response rates, but to help operators use bonus spend orchestrated by AI across diverse systems and independent from large, clumsy and expensive software suites. BonusPilot empowers CRM teams, reduces manual overhead and delivers measurable improvements in engagement without increasing operational pressure.”
