Midnite Kickstarts 2026 with Free Haircuts for Sheffield United Fans and First-Team Stars

Midnite Gives Sheffield United Fans Free Haircuts to Start Year in Style with Callum O’Hare and Michael Cooper

Midnite, the front-of-shirt sponsor for Sheffield United F.C., has kicked off 2026 by bringing fans closer to their heroes through a unique community activation. On Thursday, January 8, the fast-growing UK sportsbook transformed the heart of Sheffield into “The Blades Salon,” offering complimentary haircuts to the United faithful.

Taking over the historic TaylorTaylor barbershop in Sheffield City Centre, the event served as a celebration of the club’s recent resurgence and a “fresh start” for fans following a challenging 2025.

Blades Stars Behind the Buzzers

The highlight of the afternoon saw first-team stars Callum O’Hare and Michael Cooper swap the pitch for the barber chair. The duo joined the professional staff at TaylorTaylor to try their hand with the clippers, chatting with supporters and helping them start the new year with a fresh trim.

For lifelong fan Jordan Smith, the initiative was a standout moment of the season:

“This was a great initiative from Midnite, who has really proved it is giving back to fans this season. I got a much-needed haircut and met some first-team players—it was a great afternoon.”

Commitment to the Sheffield Community

As the Blades’ principal partner for the 2025/26 season, Midnite has focused heavily on initiatives that reward the loyalty of the fanbase. Andrew Mook, Midnite’s Head of Brand Marketing, emphasized the importance of looking forward to a successful 2026.

“Midnite is all about giving back to football fans,” said Mook. “It was a challenging 2025 for the club, but with seven wins from their last 10 games, we are looking forward to what 2026 will bring—onwards and upwards!”

A Local Partnership with Heritage

The choice of venue was no coincidence. TaylorTaylor is a staple of the Sheffield business community, boasting a 120-year history in the city.

Nick Taylor, owner and third-generation barber, commented: “This is a family business… I’m a massive Sheffield United fan which obviously helps! Thank you to Sheffield United and Midnite for getting us involved—we’ve loved every minute of it.”

Looking Ahead to 2026

With the club finding its rhythm on the pitch and Midnite driving innovative fan experiences off it, the partnership continues to set a high bar for shirt sponsorships in the UK. Supporters can expect more “partner initiatives” throughout the remainder of the season as Sheffield United pushes for a strong finish in the campaign.
