Yggdrasil Expands Global Footprint via Strategic Partnership with Vyking

Yggdrasil, a leading global publisher of online gambling content, has announced a major distribution agreement with next-generation platform provider Vyking. The deal is set to significantly broaden Yggdrasil’s reach by integrating its entire award-winning portfolio into Vyking’s expansive operator network.

A Decade of Innovation Meets Next-Gen Tech

Under the terms of the agreement, Vyking’s partners will gain access to Yggdrasil’s core library of high-performing slots, developed over more than ten years. This includes titles powered by the supplier’s signature Game Engagement Mechanics (GEMs), such as:

  • GigaBlox™: Oversized symbols that create massive winning potential.

  • DoubleMax™: Cascading wins that double multipliers exponentially.

  • MultiMax™: Accumulating multipliers across individual reels.

In addition to proprietary content, the integration includes the YGG Masters initiative. This program features specialized content from over 20 independent partner studios, delivering a diverse pipeline of more than 120 games annually through a single technical interface.

Strategic Reach Across Emerging Markets

For Yggdrasil, the partnership is a strategic move to “cement its position” in high-growth territories. Vyking’s platform—which supports both fiat and crypto brands—is particularly strong in Europe, Asia, and Africa. By leveraging Vyking’s modular “future-ready” architecture, Yggdrasil can introduce its content to a vast array of local operators quickly and efficiently.

“Through this deal with Vyking, we are able to reach an even wider audience, introducing our games to their network in numerous key markets,” said Jose Kadala, Chief Commercial Officer at Yggdrasil. “Vyking is the perfect partner to help us deliver on our mission to bring the best entertainment to players worldwide.”

Empowering Operators with Flexibility

Vyking provides modular iGaming solutions ranging from white-label to turnkey and self-service models. Their “open architecture” philosophy allows operators to maintain full control over their frontend and scaling strategies, making the addition of premium content like Yggdrasil’s a high-value upgrade for their clients.

Franz Gerhart, CEO at Vyking, added: “Yggdrasil brings a well-known, high-quality portfolio and a steady pipeline of upcoming innovations that fit perfectly with our platform philosophy. This integration adds significant value for our partners, offering access to top-tier titles through one seamless integration.”
