Scientific Games’ SCiQ Technology ROLLS OUT at Colorado Lottery Retailers, Positively Impacting Sales at Participating Chain Stores
Scientific Games’ SCiQ retail technology has rolled out across the state of Colorado as part of the Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership program with the Colorado Lottery. Under the SGEP retail optimization pillar, SCiQ technology lifted Scratch games sales by as much as 13.7% at participating Colorado Lottery retail chain stores since installation.
SCiQ is the only technology of its kind for managing the lottery category within stores. The system provides retailers with a comprehensive suite of features, including fully integrated digital menu boards for modern product display, automated inventory management, real-time store-specific sales and market basket performance reports, and enhanced product security.
The project, which launched at select Colorado Lottery retail locations, is part of Scientific Games’ collaboration with the Lottery on modernizing how Scratch games are purchased and sold. In fiscal year 2023-24, sales from Colorado Lottery scratchers topped $588 million, providing hundreds of millions in proceeds for parks, trails, pools, open space and schools across the state.
“The response from our retailers has been very positive. They are excited by the sales and commission increase, the modern footprint in stores and the operational efficiencies the technology brings,” said Tom Seaver, Director of the Colorado Lottery. “We have some chain stores that are now incorporating a space for SCiQ when they are planning a store renovation.”
The SCiQ installations are rolling out at points-of-sale with major retail chains such as Circle K, King Soopers, Kroger and Loaf ‘N Jug, as well as independent retailers throughout Colorado. A pilot with Walmart Neighborhood Market is also in progress.
Scientific Games continues to expand lottery retail modernization initiatives with SCiQ installations currently underway or completed at lottery retailers in Arizona, Illinois, Kansas, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Texas. SCiQ rollouts in two additional states are also planned for 2024.
“SCiQ continues to increase retailer excitement about lottery by making product management easier and safer, and player purchases faster. There is also an increase in player engagement with our integrated in-store digital displays which feature dynamic and flexible content,” said Michael Martin, VP of Retail Solutions for Scientific Games. “And with SCiQ‘s tactical and strategic analytics, retailers have the right products in the right stores at the right time. Improving player satisfaction leads to increased lottery sales.”
The SCiQ rollout is part of the Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership, an instant game management program used by five of the top six performing instant game lotteries in the U.S. The company has provided the Colorado Lottery’s Scratch games for more than 40 years.
Scientific Games provides retail and digital games, technology, analytics and services to 150 lotteries in 50 countries around the globe, including nearly every North American lottery.
NOTE: Percentage increase at participating retailers compared to non-SCiQ stores in the same chain during the first eight weeks.

Spinomenal presents new title Majestic Silverback
Leading iGaming content provider Spinomenal has released its latest game to join the Wildlife series, Majestic Silverback.
Players are welcomed to the untamed, lush jungle for an adventure. Verdant fauna surrounds the 5×3 reel frame, brought to life by an array of jungle animals, including jaguars, parrots, crocodiles, and iconic silverback gorillas. A primal drumbeat builds the atmosphere as players hunt down the Silverback Wild which counts for any symbol except double symbols, Free Spins and Bonus. Any player who lands five Silverback Wilds on a winning line will see a payout of 200x the bet.
A golden gorilla mask represents Free Spins and three or more Scattered Free Symbols will trigger the feature. Players must then take a spin on the Wheel of Fortune to determine the Free Spins total, ranging from 10 to 40, and the symbol that doubles for the duration.
Majestic Silverback’s Bonus feature will begin if players uncover three monstrous diamonds. There will be three spins awarded to start, where the mission is to complete the metre on the left-hand-side by collecting Scattered winning symbols. Every five symbols found will fill a cell in the metre. Players that land a +1 symbol will extend the feature with another spin and once the spins finish, the final payout is calculated by the last filled metre cell.
Majestic Silverback also includes Stacked Wilds where once the reels are spinning, Wild symbols can appear on the reels to enhance the potential of a win. In the base game, Only Double Symbols can be activated, making all symbols show in their double form.
Spinomenal CO-CEO, Omer Henya commented: “Majestic Silverback is a marvel and a big addition to our Wildlife series. The game is packed with fun features, explosive wilds and bonus games that deliver a wild jungle ride on the reels.”

MightyTips ambassador Jevgenijs Aleksejevs wins and takes his pro boxing record to 18-0
MightyTips ambassador and professional boxer Jevgenijs “The Hurricane” Aleksejevs improved his record to 18-0, defeating Ismaël “Issou” Seck from France with a unanimous decision at the AAA Fighting Series boxing event in Braunschweig, Germany on May 3, 2025.
On a solid boxing card at the Millenium Event Center, the reigning IBO European middleweight champion Jevgenijs Aleksejevs continued his undefeated run with a commanding performance over his first 10-round bout. The Latvian took on France’s Ismaël Seck (13-8-2), a durable and battle-tested fighter who had never been knocked out.
“Jevgenijs epitomises the values at the heart of the MightyTips brand: a will to win, commitment, and pursuit of excellence,” Eugene Ravdin, SEOBROTHERS Head of PR, said. “The Hurricane delivered a thrilling performance and showed his fighting spirit against formidable opposition. At MightyTips, we believe this is just another step in his journey towards greatness — and we’ll continue to stand by Jevgenijs every step of the way.”
How it happened
Aleksejevs established dominance from the off and masterfully closed the distance, not allowing the Frenchman to settle into a rhythm and use his height and reach advantage. The Latvian unleashed intelligent combinations, mixing up levels with double and triple punch sequences. His ability to switch from head to body and back again kept Seck on the defensive.
Seck’s resilience allowed him to survive the distance despite withstanding wave after wave of heavy shots from Aleksejevs. The judges awarded Aleksejevs a well-deserved unanimous decision (100-90, 99-91, 97-93). A performance like this sends a strong message to the middleweight division: The Hurricane is ready for bigger challenges.
“I feel excellent about the fight,” Jevgenijs Aleksejevs commented. “It was a valuable experience and a great lesson for me. I hope the spectators enjoyed it as much as I did. My matchmaker will line up a good title fight for me soon. This one served as a kind of check-up bout.”
Who is Jevgenijs Aleksejevs
Born in Riga, Aleksejevs is a former kickboxer and a 2008 junior European champion. A leg fracture in 2015 forced him to switch disciplines. He made his pro boxing debut 12 years ago and now boasts a KO rate of 55%. He is renowned for his counterpunching ability and often dominates during the later rounds. He has been acting as the MightyTips ambassador since June 2023. This win lifted him to the 39th in the BoxRec.com middleweight world ranking.
