Altenar expands Bulgarian offering with Magic Bet sportsbook partnership
World-leading turnkey solution provider enhances Balkans footprint with new deal
Altenar, the leading sportsbook and iGaming software supplier, has secured an agreement with Bulgaria operator, Magic Bet, to supply its industry-pioneering products for online use.
The strategic partnership will enable Altenar to bolster its position within the Balkans region, following its launch in the market earlier this year, by integrating its award-winning technology onto Magic Bet’s platform and increasing the operator’s reputation to become one of the most revered in Bulgaria.
Initially, the partnership will be online with Magic Bet, with the operator benefitting from Altenar’s wide-ranging portfolio, including Virtual Sports amongst its interactive Bonus offering for its clients.
With plans for further growth in the pipeline outside of Bulgaria in the coming years, the online deal is set to see Magic Bet develop its odds offering and risk management, while establishing the brand as a leading sportsbook in its jurisdiction.
This agreement caps a successful start to 2024 for Altenar, extending its footprint across multiple regions thanks to numerous operator partnerships worldwide.
Panagiotis Lantzas, Account Manager at Altenar, said: “Bulgaria is a key region for us as we look to expand our offering across the Balkans and we are delighted to agree a deal with Magic Bet, one of the space’s leading operators.
“Magic Bet has some ambitious plans ahead and, with our cutting-edge technology, the operator will be able to enhance its success across Bulgaria and we look forward to a fantastic journey with them.”
Plamen Dzhedzhev, CEO at Magic Bet, said: “Altenar has a reputation for world-class technology and we are excited to be going into 2024 with this deal signed.
“This integration will see us become one of the top online operators within the territory and we are thrilled to be able to offer a wide range of verticals to our customers.”

iGaming Wise Officially Rebrands to Wise Connections
Reading Time: < 1 minute
Following two years operating as iGaming Wise, and more than three years previously as Affluck, the company is entering a new chapter under its new name: Wise Connections.
The rebrand reflects the company’s continued evolution and its commitment to delivering clear value, stronger matchmaking, and more direct, effective connections for partners across the iGaming sector.
Wise Connections is built on a simple idea: quality beats quantity. Instead of pushing generic introductions or relying on outdated directories, the platform focuses on personal, vetted, and direct connections. Every introduction is made manually through trusted channels like Telegram, LinkedIn, or email, ensuring that both sides meet with full context, purpose, and confidence.
The core services remain the same: Marketing & PR, Consulting, Affiliate Management, but they are now tied together under a stronger single identity. And the biggest focus moving forward is the B2B Matchmaking, which has already proven to be one of the most effective ways to help operators, providers, affiliates, and service companies expand into the right markets.
Founder & CEO Gjorgje Ristikj describes the change as a natural step in the company’s growth: “We wanted a name that reflects what we really do. We connect companies with people who matter, and we do it the right way, personally, transparently, and with purpose.”
Wise Connections is not just a new name, it’s a clearer direction. A more structured approach. And a stronger commitment to building long-term partnerships that actually move businesses forward.
