The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) is pleased to announce a partnership with SG:certified to streamline the evaluation process of the Internet Compliance Assessment Program (iCAP). This collaboration is a significant step forward in advancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the certification process for online gambling operators.

The Internet Compliance Assessment Program, a US accreditation for best practices in player protection in online gambling, is pivotal in maintaining and elevating industry standards for responsible gambling practices, training and education protocols and harm prevention.

The SG:certified platform was developed to address the unique challenges gambling operators face when staying compliant with the ever-evolving regulatory environment. The one-of-a-kind, all-in-one compliance platform is designed around a comprehensive suite of services from a range of providers that helps operators meet all their necessary requirements while uplifting industry standards and improving regulatory outcomes.

Key elements of the collaboration include:

Efficiency and Precision: Utilizing the SG:certified platform will enhance the efficiency and precision of the certification process, guiding online gambling operators through a framework of player protection processes, training and policies.

Technology Integration: The SG:certified platform will seamlessly integrates technology solutions for overall compliance assessment by NCPG experts and an independent audit, enabling a comprehensive evaluation of operators’ responsible gambling measures, safety protocols and employee training practices.

User-Friendly Interface: The SG:certified platform offers a user-friendly interface for organizations undergoing certification, facilitating a smooth and transparent assessment process.

“At SG:certified, we are passionate about simplifying the certification process, so we are excited that NCPG has chosen our platform to facilitate their iCAP certification. This will help operators stay at the forefront of responsible gambling practices, join the league of iCAP-accredited platforms and continue their journey towards excellence,” said Dr Maris Catania, Senior Safer Gambling Consultant at SG:certified.

“This partnership builds upon NCPG’s dedication to mitigating gambling-related harm. By facilitating the iCAP assessment through the SG:certified platform, NCPG aims to provide a more streamlined and comprehensive experience for online gambling operators seeking certification, allowing their energy to remain focused on keeping players safe,” said Keith Whyte, NCPG Executive Director.

The collaboration with SG:certified brings an enhanced technological approach to the certification process, providing a platform that combines sophistication with user-friendly features. The iCAP certification from NCPG is now available within the SG:certified platform to US licensed operators.
