Independent slots studio Thunderkick is announcing a significant expansion of its office space, in line with its plan to ramp up activity and accommodate substantial growth throughout 2023.

Located in the heart of Stockholm, the provider is increasing its workspace by 50 per cent to accommodate a growing team and operations, with the company’s headcount growing from 60 to more than 80 employees in the past year alone.

The expansion provides Thunderkick’s teams with a more spacious and comfortable working environment, with the studio working entirely in-house and producing every aspect of its games from Stockholm.

This latest development is a testament to Thunderkick’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the industry, with several acclaimed titles over the past year such as Zap Attack! and the recently-released Bones & Bounty.

The company has recently seen its biggest year yet, with several more exciting titles on the horizon and significant developments to come throughout 2024 and beyond.

Commenting on the expansion, Sven Grip, CEO at Thunderkick, said:We are thrilled to be expanding our office space. This is a testament to our rapid growth, especially during the last year, and our commitment to providing our employees with the best possible work environment.

“This new space will allow us to continue to grow and innovate, and to create even more forward-thinking and engaging games for our players. Stay tuned – we’ve got plenty of exciting things on the horizon!”
