Independent slots studio Thunderkick is tasking players with taking on an alien invasion in its vibrant new release, Zap Attack!

Presented on a 5×5 game grid with 25 paylines, Zap Attack! boasts an engaging theme and soundtrack inspired by fifties sci-fi movies. Set in the town of Roswealth, players are transported to the desert as extraterrestrial beings start to take over.

A Wild in the form of a UFO can land on any spin, substituting for all symbols except Scatters, with Expanding Multiplier Wilds taking over an entire reel when part of a winning combination. These symbols grant a random multiplier of up to 5x, applying to that payline’s win for out-of-this-world prizes.

The high-paying alien can use his ray gun on a mid-win symbol during the bonus, with each hit contributing to a progressive meter. Once filled, the targeted mid-win symbol will transform into the alien for the remainder of the round, whilst also granting the player an extra free game.

Zap Attack! marks another impressive addition to Thunderkick’s collection of high-quality and innovative games, showcasing the provider’s commitment to creating engaging and rewarding gameplay experiences. It follows recent releases Sword of Shoguns and Grand Melee, which were also well-received by players.

Commenting on the release, Mike Collins, Product Owner at Thunderkick, said:Welcome to Roswealth! We’re thrilled with our latest release and placing players into the thick of the action in Zap Attack!”.

“We’re excited to see players defend the town with Expanding Multiplier Wilds and a fantastic bonus round, and we’re particularly proud of this game’s theme – the spirited design and immersive soundtrack make for an unforgettable experience. Ray guns at the ready!”
