RubyPlay (NSYNC Developments Ltd.), an innovative B2B iGaming development studio, has obtained a licence from Romania’s regulator, Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc (ONJN), to offer its games portfolio in the country’s regulated online market.

Securing a Romanian licence marks the latest phase of the company’s ongoing international expansion strategy to enter regulated markets worldwide.

Romania offers significant opportunities for RubyPlay to maintain its growth trajectory through its extensive slots library to the nation’s regulated online operators, partners and players, including recent hits Royal Griffin, Diamond Explosion 7s and Shake Shake Money Tree.

RubyPlay is enjoying a strong period of commercial growth, with recent content integration agreements in place for LeoVegas and PokerStars demonstrating the strong demand from major casino brands for its immersive iGaming content.

Trevor Ginsberg, CEO of RubyPlay, said: “We are really pleased to have secured this licence to enter Romania and introduce players to the globally recognised RubyPlay experience. We firmly believe our games are a strong fit for the market, particularly as the top performing games in Romania feature jackpots and hold and respin mechanics, both of which are incorporated within many of our own titles.”

Dr Eyal Loz, CPO of RubyPlay also comments:It’s very exciting to see RubyPlay achieving another important milestone and making our games accessible to players in Romania. We know our content is highly relevant to Operators and players in the region, and I’m sure we will achieve strong brand recognition in the coming months.”
