Ainsworth Game Technology (AGT) has appointed Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (Deloitte) as auditors of the company with immediate effect. The appointment follows the resignation of KPMG and ASIC’s consent to their resignation.
The Board of AGT, following a review and recommendation of the Audit and Risk Committee, selected Deloitte based on their reputation, experience and global recognition. Deloitte has agreed to act as the company’s auditor for the financial year commencing 1 January 2023 and subsequent financial years.
In accordance with section 327C of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), a resolution will be tabled at the company’s 2023 Annual General Meeting on 19 May 2023 to confirm the appointment of Deloitte as the company’s auditor.
