Checkd Media brings back successful Big Sam show with William Hill until end of season

No Tippy Tappy Football with Sam Allardyce renews run with Emile Heskey and Mark Clattenburg among the big name guests confirmed

Fast growing iGaming business Checkd Media has announced that its highly successful William Hill-sponsored show, No Tippy Tappy Football with Sam Allardyce, has returned for what promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the ongoing football season.

First launched across Checkd’s Footy Accumulators social channels in the build-up to the 2022 World Cup, the content proved to be a major hit, delivering over 14 million impressions and 1.4 million views with guests including Simon Jordan, Graeme Souness and Neil Warnock.

The video podcast, which has full episodes available to view on Footy Accumulators’ YouTube channel, will continue to be hosted by Natalie Pike alongside Allardyce and has a slew of new high-profile guests lined up to provide exclusive insight, opinions and anecdotes with plenty to discuss both on and off the pitch.

Confirmed names include Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler, former top-flight referee Mark Clattenburg, ex-Liverpool and England star Emile Heskey and former Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood.

The Moneymaker Tour will partner with Playground for its second international stop to offer 23 trophy events for the May series

Get ready to shuffle up and deal with the man who turned an $86 online satellite into a $2.5 million payday, Chris Moneymaker, the 2003 World Series of Poker Main Event champion and Poker Hall of Famer, is set to make his debut at Playground in Kahnawake, just minutes south of downtown Montreal.

From May 7-20, 2025 poker players from Canada, the U.S., and beyond will compete for CAD$1 million guaranteed prize pool. This is your chance to play alongside the legend who sparked the “Moneymaker Effect,” inspiring millions to pursue their poker dreams.

“I’m thrilled to finally play at Playground and meet the passionate poker community in Montreal,” said Moneymaker. “This festival promises great action, and I can’t wait to see new faces at the tables.”

The series boasts a total guaranteed prize pool of over CAD$1.4 million across 23 trophy events, headlined by the CAD$1,150 Main Event with a CAD$500,000 guarantee, running from May 16-20.

Founded in 2023 by 2003 WSOP Main Event Champion and ACR Poker Pro, Chris Moneymaker and Moneymaker Tour Executive Manager, Tony Burns, the Moneymaker Tour was conceived as a way to give poker players the chance to experience their own ordinary to extraordinary moments, just as Moneymaker did. Since then, the tour has hosted various events across the US, including in Florida, Cincinnati, Houston and Ohio, as well as internationally in Aruba and now Canada.

“The Moneymaker Tour continues to expand not only in the US, but now with our friends to the North in Canada,” said Tony Burns, Executive Manager. “Playground has a rich history of having one of the most prestigious poker rooms in the world. After a milestone 2024 featuring 10 stops across the US and its first international series in Aruba, the Moneymaker Tour continues its rapid growth. Recent highlights include successful events in Florida, such as Palm Beach Kennel Club, currently running until February 25 with over $500,000 in guarantees, and upcoming stops at Dania Beach on March 6 – 9 and Daytona Beach on April 2 – 14 before heading to Canada. The tour will then head back to Aruba from September 18 – 28, alongside the Caribbean Poker Series.
