Opera collaborates with famous CS:GO streamer, Anomaly, to mint a set of 4,000 NFTs
The collaboration will be kicked off by an auction of five super rare Anomaly NFTs on October 23, followed by a general sale of mystery boxes with NFTs on the new Traden.pro platform starting on Oct 26, 2021.
Opera, the personal browser of choice for hundreds of millions of people and the creator of the worldâs first web browser with web3 support, through its subsidiary Blueboard Limited, is launching a collaboration with Anomaly, a famous CS:GO streamer with a global audience of Counter Strike: Global Offensive fans. The initiative features the minting of a set of unique Anomaly NFTs and will be kicked off with an auction of five super rare Anomaly NFTs. They will be auctioned off using WETH on the Polygon network.
This move is one that connects Operaâs efforts within the blockchain and gaming space. With Opera Gaming, the browser company has developed Opera GX, a web browser dedicated to gamers, as well as GameMaker Studio 2, a free-to-use engine for game creation. Blueboardâs NFT initiative is offered as an enjoyable means with which to engage with the digital assets created in collaboration with your favorite streamers, starting with Anomaly. It also presents a new way of interacting between influencers and their fans.
The integration of gaming and blockchain continues to grow. With the creation of a set of unique gamer and influencer-centric NFTs, Blueboard wants to explore increased scalability and lower transaction pricing, using the Polygon blockchain to offer an easy entry point for gamers who are new to NFTs.
The initial auction of the five rare NFTs will be followed by a sale of âAnomaly Cassettesâ, mystery boxes including more NFTs. The Opera x Anomaly NFTs are a set of ERC-1155 tokens accompanied by stunning visuals. Users will be able to buy the âAnomaly Cassetteâ, a surprise box with a given NFT priced at an affordable USD 9.90. Following the purchase of the Cassette, the buyer will find out which video NFT they got. Hidden in the Cassettes are one of the five NFTs: âThe Anomalyâ, âEndless Loopâ, âTroll Machineâ, âThe A Fuelâ and âTake My Maskâ. Among the Cassettes will also be nine, individually marked super rare NFTâs from each of the five designs. After purchase using FIAT or WETH, the NFTs will be stored on Traden.pro, Operaâs NFT marketplace.
Combinations of Opera x Anomaly NFTs will also grant additional privileges to Anomalyâs fans. Depending on the combination of NFTs acquired, users may be allowed to join a private club with Anomaly on Discord, play CS:Go with him or receive a personalized gift. The NFT can be updated and the interactions with Anomaly recorded by the blockchain.

S8UL Esports, Indiaâs trailblazing force in gaming and creator-led entertainment, delivered a landmark moment at the Esports Awards 2025 in Las Vegas. The organisation celebrated a remarkable double win, lifting the Esports Content Group of the Year award for the fourth time, while Co-Founder Animesh â8Bit Thugâ Agarwal was honoured as Esports Personality of the Year. The night became even more memorable as S8UL emerged as the first and only Indian organisation to win two separate titles at the Esports Awards, a milestone shaped by the teamâs heart, dedication, and years of passion.
Often called the Oscars of the gaming world, the Esports Awards shine a spotlight on the finest global talent every year. For India, S8ULâs double win comes during a remarkable season in which the organisation also competed at the Esports World Cup, standing alongside some of the worldâs most premier teams and creators while representing the country on one of esportsâ biggest international stages. Winning Content Group of the Year again, in a category stacked with giants like T1, Sentinels, Team Liquid, and Fnatic, reinforces S8ULâs global standing and the strength of its storytelling, creativity, and community-first approach.
This year also marked a proud moment for Indian creators who featured among some of the worldâs most competitive categories. Payal Dhare, widely known as Payal Gaming, was nominated for Streamer of the Year. She stood alongside some of the biggest names in global streaming including Kai Cenat, Marc âCaedrelâ Lamont, Morgan âAngryGingeâ Burtwistle, Felix âxQcâ Lengyel, Nicholas âJynxziâ Stewart, and Nick âLacyâ Fosco. The award was ultimately won by Darren âIShowSpeedâ Watkins Jr, yet Payalâs presence in a lineup of this scale reflects the growing global footprint of Indian creators and the doors they continue to open. Snax also continued to represent Indiaâs creator and competitive community across the year, contributing to S8ULâs global presence including its run at the Esports World Cup, where the organisation competed in some of the most challenging lineups internationally.
Raj Varma carried the Indian flag into the Esports Content Creator of the Year category, nominated alongside Marc âCaedrelâ Lamont, Cody âClixâ Conrod, Alexandre âgAuLeSâ Borba, Tarik âTarikâ Celik, Jack âNiceWiggâ Martin, and Mark âOhnepixelâ Zimmermann. The award went to Nicholas âJynxziâ Stewart, yet Rajâs nomination underscored the rise of Indian storytellers who are now being recognised at the highest level of global esports entertainment.
Reflecting on the landmark night, S8ULâs founders shared their thoughts.
Animesh â8Bit Thugâ Agarwal, Co-Founder, S8UL, said, âThis yearâs esports awards nominations were already huge for us. Back to back nominations told us we were doing something right. But winning Content Group of the year, for the fourth time running, its just wild. Lets take a moment to celebrate the huge moment that it is! And âEsports Personality of the yearâ, that really is a shared victory! The nights our fans have spent watching us, cheering us and all the votes they cast, together weâve made this happen. Honestly, if you are a wellwisher of Indian Gaming, its the time to rejoice. Seeing Indian Gaming here, its big. I always knew this can happen, but its surreal when it did. Going back home with so much more determination! â
Naman âMortalâ Mathur, Co-Founder, S8UL, said, âThis is a proud moment not just for S8UL, but for India. Year after year, our goal has been to show the world that Indian gaming creators can stand shoulder to shoulder with the best. These wins inspire us to push even harder and continue representing India globally.â
Lokesh âGoldyâ Jain, Co-Founder, S8UL, said, âS8UL has always been about building a legacy rooted in creativity, collaboration, and community. Winning two awards tonight is a testament to the relentless efforts of our team and the unwavering love of our fans. We will continue raising the bar for Indian esports and creators worldwide.â
As S8UL celebrates a historic night, the moment stands as another reminder of how far Indian esports has come and where it is headed. With creators, teams, and leadership continuously raising industry benchmarks, S8ULâs journey continues to inspire millions across the country, proving yet again that world-class esports culture can grow from the heart of Indiaâs gaming community.
