Appgallery Reveals the Best Gaming Apps Of 2020

The new AppGallery Europe Editors’ Choice Game Awards recognise five gaming apps which provide the best in mobile entertainment, helping users to escape the everyday

Huawei announced the winners of its AppGallery Europe Editors’ Choice Game Awards 2020, celebrating the apps which took users on entertaining, challenging and inspiring journeys this year, as well as providing much-needed interaction with others during a time when many of us could only connect virtually.

“At Huawei, we’re continuing to see tremendous growth in the mobile gaming industry, with this app category appealing to almost every demographic of society by helping people to escape the real world for a short while, whether as a way to relax at home, pass the time on their commute or as a chance to catch up with friends,” said Dr. Jaime Gonzalo, Vice President of Huawei Mobile Services in Europe. “The AppGallery Europe Editors’ Choice Game Awards recognise the developers whose imaginative vision for a compelling gaming experience enabled users to take part in larger-than-life adventures.”

The 2020 gaming award categories champion app innovation, with the winners being highly noted for their exceptional user experience, captivating storytelling, stunning design, accessibility and innovative technology. This year’s gaming categories are:

1. Best shooting and multiplayer game
2. Best family and casual game
3. Best role-playing game
4. Best strategy game
5. Best sports and racing game

The five category winners will each receive their own AppGallery Europe Editors’ Choice Games Awards 2020 trophy in the coming weeks, as well as having their game promoted on AppGallery, for new users to discover and enjoy.
