Yggdrasil has expanded its YG Masters partnership with AvatarUX with the studio recommitting to the programme after great success. The extended deal will see the studio employ Yggdrasil’s ground-breaking GATI (Game Adaptation Tools & Interface) technology designed to allow for swift scalability and growth.

Yggdrasil’s GATI platform stands alone in the industry due to its standardised, language agnostic interaction which allows developers to swiftly and safely create content, with easy distribution across the supplier’s entire distribution network.

Through the GATI technology, YG Masters partners can adopt the interface to cross-sell all titles to any YG Franchisee, leading to a new avenue of collaboration on a global scale, aimed at growing revenue streams for multiple parties.

All YG Masters partners have access to GATI and use the preconfigured, regulation-ready, standardised development toolkit to develop and distribute games.

AvatarUX has released three games since joining the YG Masters programme. Its inaugural title Lilith’s Inferno was followed by two games in their PopWins2122-104 AvatarUX becomes latest YG Masters studio to select revolutionary GATI technology series: PopRocks2122-105 AvatarUX becomes latest YG Masters studio to select revolutionary GATI technology and WildPops2122-106 AvatarUX becomes latest YG Masters studio to select revolutionary GATI technology. Another two titles from the series will be released in 2020. In late September, AvatarUX will release a new YG Masters game via GATI for the first time.

Stuart McCarthy, Head of Partner Strategy and Sourcing at Yggdrasil, said: “Our proprietary GATI technology has seen partners have a smooth route to market across the globe through our Franchisees.

“Our YG Masters partners will be able to use GATI to further enhance their growth and enjoy the benefits of a unified system which highlights the importance of collaboration in a crowded marketplace.”

Marcus Honney, Managing Director at AvatarUX, said: “Being part of the YG Masters programme has enabled AvatarUX to successfully distribute our games across a broad network of operators. We envision that GATI will further enhance opportunities for our studio and allow us to continue developing unique, high quality and innovative games. We are excited about all possibilities the technology brings forth and we look forward to continuing to work closely with the Yggdrasil team to achieve our business goals.”

Parimatch Tech will launch Parimatch Tech Academy in November, a free IT academy for talented people who have ambitions to become a developer. This is not only an opportunity to study technology through real projects, but also a chance to become employed at an international company.

Training at the Academy will consist of three stages. During the first stage, students will learn about the basics of communication and teamwork, as well as the specifics of Parimatch Tech’s operations. The second stage is focused on coding, with students selecting one of the following programming technologies: .Net, JavaScript, Native Android and Native iOS. Programming training is designed to last for three and a half months.

The final stage includes a paid internship working on a real project at Parimatch Tech, which will last for two and a half months, meaning the entire training process will take six months. Upon completion, students will have in-depth understanding of the IT product development process, learn to work in a team and solve problems using forward-thinking approaches. The top performing academy graduates will receive a job offer from Parimatch Tech.

Experienced specialists at Parimatch Tech will act as teachers and mentors for those taking the course. Our partners, experts from the Israeli center for innovative IT education, DAN.IT, will review the programs, methods and tools used in the training process, as well as the quality of teaching.

There is a selection process for the Academy, which consists of several stages. Applications opened on October 12, and all forms must be submitted by October 29. The next stage, from November 2 to November 5, includes an online test that will help us select the candidates that demonstrate aptitude for programming, and then there will be tests on the basics of programming. The final stage is an online interview with mentors and course teachers, which will take place on November 6. To take part in the selection process, you need to sign up via the link. Parimatch Tech Academy will recruit 100 students in total.

A presentation on Parimatch Tech Academy will take place on October 26 at PMHUB. You can join the event online via the link.

He added: “On the one hand because of the solid basis they provide for cooperation and on the other hand because of the clear signal that will be given towards the gambling and gaming industry.”

“By opening the communication channels between the authorities we become stronger in our supervisory activities.
