AGTech Announces Interim Results For The Six Months Ended June 30, 2020Reading Time: 3 minutes

AGTech Holdings Limited, a leading integrated lottery, games and entertainment technology company in China, announced the interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2020.

According to MOF figures, during the Six-Month Period, lottery market recorded sales of approximately RMB123.9 billion, a decrease of approximately 41.7% compared to the corresponding period in 2019. Other than the closure of national lottery market during Chinese Lunar New Year, the drop in sales was mainly due to the impact of Novel Coronavirus (“COVID-19”) outbreak while the business hours of lottery sales outlets were significantly reduced. Lottery sales activities have since resumed in March 2020, and the Group will continue to closely monitor the latest development and recovery post pandemic.

AGTech’s Hardware division primarily supplies the Sports Lottery and the Welfare Lottery and has hardware deployed in multiple provinces, cities, municipalities and autonomous regions across China. During the Six-Month Period under review, the Group won five lottery hardware tenders to supply lottery terminals to the SLACs in Anhui province, Shanxi province, Jilin province, Hubei province and Guizhou province of the PRC. The Group will continue to pursue tenders to supply to the lottery and other hardware market and bid for new contracts after resumption of tenders post COVID-19 delays.

Transition to new retail models presents a great opportunity for the further development of the Group’s hardware business. Many of the hardware supplies required under such new retail concept share similar technology and components that underlie the lottery hardware products supplied by the Group throughout the years. We believe our hardware division continues to be well positioned to take advantage of such opportunities in the foreseeable future.

The Group continues to operate the lottery channel on mobile Taobao and mobile Alipay to serve as a one-stop platform on lottery related information for existing and potential customers. With the recent addition of sporting content and sports intelligence services to our lottery channel, we expect to roll out further engagement features and tools to improve user experience and engagement.

From a lottery products point of view, we have identified instant scratch lottery games to be an important product initiative for the coming year, as we will be dedicating resources to open up this market within the lottery sector.

FINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS

Revenue of the Group for the Six-Month Period amounted to approximately HK$43.9 million, representing a decrease of approximately 8.0% over the corresponding period in 2019. Revenue contributions were mainly derived from lottery hardware, lottery games and systems, provision of lottery distribution and ancillary services, games and entertainment business in the PRC.
The decrease in revenue for the Six-Month Period was primarily caused by the decrease in sales of lottery hardware of approximately HK$6.6 million and decrease of approximately HK$1.0 million in revenue from games and entertainment division, partially offset by an increase of approximately HK$4.6 million from the lottery games and systems.
The decrease in revenue from hardware business was due to slower tendering processes and hardware deliveries in several provinces as compared to the corresponding period in 2019 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The increase in revenue from the lottery games and systems was caused by the increase in sales volume from the virtual sports lottery games in the second quarter of 2020 after the reopening of PRC lottery market.
Operating loss for the Six-Month Period was approximately HK$105.6 million, representing a decrease of approximately 12.1% over the corresponding period in 2019.

Nolimit City delves back into the Mental series with its latest release, Disorder

Published

on

Reading Time: 4 minutes

Witness the downfall of John, a man of order, a devoted father, a loyal husband and a pillar of routine. Nolimit City’s latest release, Disorder, unearths the twisted origin story of Mental and Mental II. This highly anticipated slot falls under the extreme themed category of Nolimit City slots such as Serial and Disturbed.

Fire Frames
The Smith household looks picture-perfect, but inside, it’s anything but. Disorder plays out on a 4-3-4-3-4-3 layout across 6 reels, with 3 locked Enhancer Cells placed at the bottom of reel 2, 4 and 6. In the real area, Fire Frames will appear randomly on the reels. Any symbol that lands in a Fire Frame will split into 2 symbols. Any regular paying symbol can be split into a max of 16. If a Bonus Symbol lands within the Fire Frame, it upgrades to a Super Bonus Symbol.

Enhancer Cells

The house has some hidden secrets in the form of Enhancer Cells. They can be activated depends on the number of Fire Frames that land:

● Reel 2 Enhancer – Activates when 4 Fire Frames appear.
● Reel 2 & 4 Enhancers – Activates when 7 Fire Frames appear.
● Reel 2, 4 & 6 Enhancers – Activates when 9 Fire Frames appear.

Once the reel 6 Enhancer Cell is activated, every 2 additional Fire Frames reactivate all Enhancer Cells.

Each Enhancer Cell may reveal the following symbols:

● Molotov – Randomly selects a regular paying symbol, splits it and all its instances. Regular paying symbols can be split into a max of 16. It also converts itself into the selected symbol.
● Delusion – Randomly selects a regular paying symbol, transforms it and all its instances into the highest paying symbol present on the reels. It also converts itself into the selected symbol.
● Paranoia Multiplier – Adds a random multiplier between 1x and 999x to the win multiplier. The Multiplier applies to all wins until the end of the round. It also converts itself into a Wild Symbol.
● Nuclear Wild – Transforms all regular paying symbols on its reel into Wild Symbols. It also converts itself into a Wild Symbol.
● xBomb® – Removes all Regular paying symbols not part of a winning combination. If any instance of a winning symbol also exists on a non winning position, it will not be removed. xBomb® also converts itself to a Wild Symbol and increases the win multiplier by 1.
● Family Symbol – One of the 5 Family Symbols appears.

Features are triggered left to right except xBomb®, which triggers last.

Bonus Mode

John’s house was built with “extra rooms.” Unfortunately, they’re not for guests but for Bonus Modes. The number of spins awarded in the Bonus Modes depends on the number of symbols that trigger it. Each Bonus Symbol awards +2 Spins. Each Super Bonus Symbol awards + 3 Spins. This applies both in the spin that triggers bonus mode and during bonus mode itself. During the bonus mode, Fire Frames are more likely to appear than in the base game. Multipliers awarded in base game will not be carried over to bonus mode.

Obsessive Compulsive Spins

The first sign that John was losing his mind was the onset Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Landing 3 Bonus Symbols including at most 1 Super Bonus Symbol in the base game triggers 6+ Obsessive Compulsive Spins. Landing 2 or 3 Super Bonus Symbols during Obsessive Compulsive spins will upgrade the spins to Antisocial Personality Spins, whereas landing 4 Super Bonus Symbols will upgrade the spins to Severe Dissociative Identity spins. The win multiplier and Fire Frames reset after each spin.

Antisocial Personality Spins

The second sign was the fact that John started isolating himself, going straight to the basement every time he got home from work. Landing 3 Bonus Symbols including at most 2 Super Bonus Symbols in the base game triggers 8+ Antisocial Spins. Landing 2 Super Bonus Symbols during Antisocial Personality Spins will upgrade the spins to Severe Dissociative Spins. The win multiplier count will not reset during the Antisocial Personality Spins.

Severe Dissociative Identity Spins

The final stage of John’s transition was that he detached from reality and allowed his intrusive thoughts to take over. Landing 4 Super Bonus Symbols in the base game triggers 12+ Severe Dissociative Identity Spins. Fire Frames remain sticky on their positions and the win multiplier count will not reset during the Severe Dissociative Identity Spins.

Extra Spin

Extra Spin is back! When Antisocial Personality Spins or Severe Dissociative Identity Spins are triggered, players might get the opportunity to purchase an additional spin at the end of the round. The additional spin will keep the win multiplier and Fire Frames (if sticky) of the previous spin. The cost of the spin will be calculated based on the win multiplier and Fire Frames. If the cost of the Extra Spin is less than or equal to the total win, then the Extra Spin opportunity will be presented.

Nolimit Boosters

The rest of the Smith family are going to find out who John really is, especially with these Nolimit Boosters:

– Bonus Booster – More likely to activate a Bonus Mode.
– Fire Booster – Increased chance of landing more Fire Frames compared to the base game and more likely to activate a Bonus Mode.
– Enhancer Booster – Guaranteed 9 Fire Frames and more Fire Frames may appear in upcoming spins and more likely to activate a Bonus Mode.

A tale of a beautiful family that gets torn apart by the father completely losing his mind. Disorder has a maximum payout of 23,500x the base bet. Disorder is rated as “Extremely Volatile” delivering the thrilling high-stakes gameplay that Nolimit City fans know and love.

Per Lindheimer, Head of Product at Nolimit City, said: “If Mental was the aftermath, Disorder is the breaking point. We wanted to show the moment when everything snapped. We wanted to keep the story as cohesive as possible leaving room for people to make their own assumptions. John takes us through the different secret levels of his suburban home during the free spins. It’s not the family reunion anyone wants to attend”

‘Disorder’ will be available to all Nolimit City partners on November 4th, 2025.
