Health Secretary Francisco Duque III said the symptoms of Wuhan coronavirus infection may begin to show in ten days to two weeks after exposure to the virus.

The total number of cases of coronavirus outside mainland China is now more than 50, with 14 countries reporting cases of the virus.

Duque said that the Philippines remains free from the virus, but added that they are closely monitoring suspected cases.
