OTE Teams Up with Intralot for Online Betting License in GreeceReading Time: 1 minute

 

OTE and Intralot have confirmed their intention to jointly bid for an online betting license in Greece.

“…the Board of Directors of the Company has approved the formation of a new entity with Intralot, which will be majority-controlled by OTE and will apply for an online betting license,” OTE said in a bourse filing.

Still, both companies clarified that the final decisions will be taken following the completion of the ongoing process of establishing the relevant regulatory framework, recently submitted to the Greek parliament.
