SlotMatrix turns up the heat with Powderkeg Studios’ Hula Moolah
Reading Time: < 1 minute
SlotMatrix, the world’s largest casino aggregator, is bringing the fire with the launch of Hula Moolah, an explosive new slot from Powderkeg Studios.
Set in a tropical paradise where Tiki gods rule and volcanoes erupt, Hula Moolah turns every spin into a molten-hot chance to win. The game’s centrepiece is the Hold & Spin Feature, ignited when the vibrant Tiki Wilds leap into the volcano.
The wins from the triggering spin become lava that fuels the feature, heating up rewards to new, fiery levels.
Tiki Sacrifices can appear at any time to boost adjacent multipliers and reset the number of spins, creating a chain reaction of escalating rewards. Each sacrifice upgrades nearby Lava Pools, with multipliers rising up to 25x, offering explosive potential with every spin.
The excitement continues with the Free Spin Bonus, where more Tiki Wilds join the reels to increase the odds of triggering Hold & Spin. Landing 3, 4, or 5 Bonus symbols awards up to 12 Free Spins, with retriggers keeping the heat alive.
Hula Moolah is exclusively distributed via SlotMatrix, and as with all SlotMatrix exclusive titles, is enhanced by EveryMatrix’s proprietary gamification tools, including free spins and leaderboards.
The slot can also be seamlessly integrated with EngageSuite, the all-in-one player loyalty solution.
Stephen Orchard, Head of Commercial Operations, SlotMatrix, said: “Powderkeg Studios outdid themselves with this one. Hula Moolah is pure fire. A high-impact game that blends immersive design with thrilling mechanics that deliver real intensity, making this one of our most explosive titles yet.”
Jesper Gawell, COO & CMO, Supremeland Gaming, added: “We are proud to support Powderkeg Studios in bringing Hula Moolah to life exclusively with SlotMatrix. This partnership lets us focus on bold concepts and premium execution. SlotMatrix provides the right tools to turn great games into hits.”

Tom Horn Gaming Unveils 3 Ribbon Pots. A Fresh Twist on the Hold & Win Formula
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Tom Horn Gaming invites players to step into a world of emerald fields, leprechauns, and hidden treasures with its latest release, 3 Ribbon Pots. Launching on 11 November, this fast-paced slot delivers a new take on the popular Hold&Win mechanic, adding depth, variety, and smoother gameplay.
Variety and Interaction: Hold&Win with a Twist
In the land of lucky charms and golden rewards, three enchanted pots await, each bound by a ribbon of destiny. As players spin the reels, every red, green, and blue coin that lands on the reels fills its matching pot, triggering the Hold&Win bonus game.
Each coin colour and pot type is tied to one of the three Hold&Win modes: red to jackpots, green to collectors, and blue to multipliers. These three modes can be combined dynamically. They may appear alone as a Green Collector Coin, Red Jackpot Coin or Blue Multiplier Coin, or in combinations: Red Jackpot and Blue Multiplier; Red Jackpot and Green Collector; Red Jackpot and Blue Multiplier; Green Collector and Blue Multiplier. Each combination changes how the bonus game behaves, creating up to seven unique versions of the Hold&Win feature.
Super Hold&Win: The Ultimate Hold&Win Experience
When all three coins land simultaneously, they activate the Super Hold&Win bonus game. Both Hold&Win and its super version begin with three respins on a 3×3 grid where Value Coins, Jackpot Coins, Collector Coins, and Multiplier Coins can appear. All symbols that land, lock in place and reset the respins, building anticipation as players chase multipliers of up to x10 and the Grand Jackpot, awarded when all reels are filled with bonus symbols.
For players who prefer to dive straight into the action, the Bonus Buy options provide instant access to the regular Hold&Win feature for 50x the bet or the Super Hold&Win for 120x the bet.
A High-Performance Slot Designed to Engage
Designed with player experience in mind, 3 Ribbon Pots combines fast spin cycles, frequent feature triggers, flexible spin-stop options, and two acceleration modes: turbo and super turbo, which give players full control over the rhythm and speed of the game. This versatility makes it equally appealing to both casual and high-value players. With its high volatility, a whopping maximum exposure of 15,985.5x, the game delivers the perfect balance of excitement and high win potential to keep players engaged.
“With 3 Ribbon Pots, we wanted to refine the Hold&Win experience to feel smoother, more dynamic, and more rewarding than ever,” said Ondrej Lapides, CEO at Tom Horn Gaming. “The addition of three distinct pots tied to the coin mechanic not only enhances gameplay variety but also delivers a more engaging rhythm of anticipation and reward, keeping players hooked for longer”
3 Ribbon Pots is the latest addition to Tom Horn Gaming’s growing portfolio of slots. With its combination of charm, speed, and high win potential, the game stands as a strong contender in the coin mechanic category, designed to captivate both casual spinners and seasoned slot enthusiasts across multiple markets.
