Maverick Gaming has appointed Tim Merrill as the company’s new President of Maverick Gaming’s Washington Operations.

Merrill is having experience in a variety of senior business roles at Las Vegas Sands, including most recently as Senior Vice President of Slot Operations of Sands China Limited.

Merrill has held many senior positions such as President of Vernon Downs and other Senior Positions for companies such as Caesars Entertainment and Delaware North.

“Mr. Merrill is exactly the leader Maverick Gaming needs to integrate the multiple Washington properties we are currently purchasing, and transition this business into the regional entertainment opportunity we envision. The fact the Maverick is able to attract well employed, senior talent from the largest gaming company in the world is a testament of what this company is, and as importantly is in the process of becoming,” Eric Persson, owner of Maverick Gaming said.

“Over the next few months, we intend to announce further acquisitions in Washington that will demonstrate our commitment to this market in the State I grew up in and consider home,” he added.
