The Ministry of Finance of Russia has proposed to prohibit the sale of tickets of instant lotteries on the Internet. Currently, Russia only allows state lotteries organised by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of sports.

Instant or draw lottery is a lottery in which winning or losing is incorporated in the ticket immediately, but her party will be able to know the result only after a purchase. As follows from the bill of the Ministry of Finance, under the guise of such lotteries in the network is often arranged illegal gambling.

In addition, the Agency proposed to limit the maximum size of the prize Fund of each lottery 70% of its revenue. Also clarifies that targeted deductions from lotteries should go to the Federal budget.
