Iowa Casino Plans to Launch SportsbookReading Time: 1 minute

 

Even though the legislators in Iowas are still undecided  about making sports betting legal in the state, one casino in the state has launched its preparations to build a sports book. Catfish Bend Casino in Burlington has announced its plan obviously anticipating a positive legislation in sports gambling. The company requires permission from the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission to go ahead with the move.

The company has signed contracts with with Minnesota-based Design Wise to design and build a sportsbook and  New Jersey-based PointsBet LLC to operate it. PointsBet already operates an online casino.
