The online casinos in Belarus have become legal. The document related to this was signed by President Alexander Lukashenko back in August 2018.

The decree has also changed some rules for all type of gambling. Gambling is now available to citizens over the age of 21. Each player must undergo a mandatory identification procedure.

Online casinos have the right to operate only under an official license. In addition, the companies must have a security deposit on their bank accounts to ensure payout of the winnings. Its size reaches more than 1 million dollars. New rules also require all online casinos to be connected to a special computer cash register system to control the cash flow.
