Black Type’s bold pricing led to a huge rise up the rankings, according to Oddschecker’s annual Cheltenham Festival review.

In only their third Cheltenham Festival, Black Type appeared in the top 10 for clickshare for the first time, showing a 255% increase on their 2018 results in yet another clear sign of the huge progress being made.

Ahead of the Grand National meeting kicking off at Aintree tomorrow, Black Type have also announced that Irish customers can now bet with Black Type. Live streaming on all British and Irish horse racing was introduced prior to Cheltenham.

Stephen Davison, Chief Operating Officer at Black Type, said, “We are delighted with the clear progress we are making. Our uniqueness is that we are trying our best to be competitive on price on the sports we want to lay. We are not going to be competitive all the time and we pick our battles, but I would hope that we can be recognised for the fact we are trying to do things a little differently. We are very committed on price. If you check our price on the morning of the race on Oddschecker, we will be trying to lay a bet.”

“We are also delighted to welcome the Irish to BlackType.bet. With Gordon Elliot set to saddle a quarter of the field in the Grand National on Saturday and Tiger Roll set to go off as one of the hottest favourites in living memory, we expect to see plenty of activity from Ireland!”
