Blexr opens Barcelona office to support European expansion

Performance marketing company Blexr has opened an office in Barcelona and plans to create up to 100 jobs in the Catalan capital.

It will work closely with its established base in Malta to support the company’s continued growth and will help launch new products in Europe.

The company operates more than 120 websites and has more than 100 employees, with flagship websites such as VegasSlotsOnline and SBO.net

It develops digital content for brands working in finance, sportsbook and gaming, helping those brands increase their web traffic through a variety of channels including SEO, inbound and email marketing, and pay-per-click.

Blexr’s Barcelona office will be home to content writers, SEO analysts, UI/UX designers and IT professionals, among other staff.

This local expertise and talent will help the entire company develop new features and content for its own websites and their clients’ channels, as well as pursuing new business opportunities.

The company’s new launch was attended by all staff, who flew to Barcelona last week to mark the occasion.

Blexr’s COO Eduardo dos Remedios said the company has decided to open an office in Barcelona as the city offers “a large talent pool in technology, product, digital marketing and creative/design”.
He added: “Barcelona offers excellent infrastructure and many choices in education for both local and international students. It is a diverse city from a cultural perspective, and diversity helps to promote innovation.

“Opening an office in Barcelona is necessary to both support and act as a catalyst for growth. This is a beautiful place to be based and we’re very excited to be here.”
