Skrill Ltd., a leading digital wallet provider and part of Paysafe Group, has announced a high-profile sponsorship deal with the Los Angeles-based LA10 Football Club. The club, which was launched last September and has the backing of Alessandro Del Piero, reflects the former Juventus F.C. captain’s ongoing commitment to the game.

For Skrill, the sponsorship deal supports its ongoing strategy to heighten its profile and increase usage of its wallet globally. As the new front-of-jersey sponsor for LA10 FC, Skrill will take a front-row position on and off the pitch with the team, which was unbeaten in the fall soccer season. Under the partnership, LA10 and Skrill have collaborated to design a striking new team jersey prominently featuring the Skrill logo as well as a limited edition Del Piero shirt.

Skrill will also benefit from the legendary international status of LA10 owner Del Piero, who has had a promotional relationship with the UK-headquartered digital wallet provider since May 2018. A FIFA World Cup champion and the captain of Juventus F.C. during 11 seasons (2001-2012), Del Piero remains the all-time top scorer (290 goals) for the famous Turin club.

With LA10 now competing at the highest level of competition in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL), Del Piero, LA10 and Skrill will combine their global reach to promote the digital wallet brand and football club internationally. As well as the on-pitch jersey sponsorship, they will leverage their social media channels for promotional purposes.

INTRALOT S.A. announces the signing of a contract between BCLC, which operates lottery on behalf of the Government of British Columbia and INTRALOT Inc., its US subsidiary to provide a lottery central system with its novel platform Lotos X, its holistic lottery solution that includes INTRALOT’s cutting edge lottery terminals with their innovative camera based technology along with additional software products, and ongoing maintenance services. The contract is for an initial 5-year term that can be extended up to another 6 years.

BCLC completed a public procurement process for new lottery terminals and software in 2017, and entered into a contract with Novomatic Lottery Solutions (NLS). However, in October 2018, BCLC and NLS agreed to use the contract assignment provision to assign the contract to INTRALOT, which was already working on the project as a provider of terminal hardware.

In January 2019, BCLC conducted a subsequent public procurement process for Gaming Engine Services with INTRALOT as the successful bidder.

Enhancements underway at BCLC include new lottery terminals, stand-alone ticket checkers, printers and display units, as well as the related software systems. Once launched in fiscal year 2021/22, the project will support the evolving needs of retailers and players with a faster purchasing experience, enhanced functionality and a more user-friendly terminal.

The upfront value of BCLC’s contract with INTRALOT for the implementation of the new lottery terminals and systems, and Gaming Engine Services, is CAD 24.5 million and is included in BCLC’s capital budget through to fiscal year 2021/22.

INTRALOT’s Group Deputy CEO, Mr. Nikos Nikolakopoulos commented: “We are pleased to have been awarded by BCLC with a new contract to deliver our next-generation lottery solutions which will drive players’ engagement and transform their playing experience. EveryMatrix announces that a purchase agreement of €2 million for the acquisition of Jetbull, the EveryMatrix B2C brand, was recently signed with AMGO iGaming AB. Starting 1st of July 2019, AMGO will get full ownership of Jetbull and has already started the transition phase to operate and manage the brand.

Operating on the EveryMatrix white label platform, Jetbull is a strong gaming brand that offers competitive casino and sportsbook. With more than 600,000 registered customers, Jetbull has experienced substantial growth over the last 24 months. Jetbull will continue to be operated under EveryMatrix’s Maltese, UK and Danish licenses.

Ebbe Groes, Founder and Group CEO of EveryMatrix, commented: ”Some B2B companies have their own B2C brands competing with their B2B clients. This has always been against our strategy, and with this transaction, we now completely shut down own brands and we can focus exclusively on our role as a software service supplier for casino, sports, payments, and platform.

The acquisition price of Jetbull was set at €2 million. €1 million will be paid in cash and €1 million in newly issued AMGO iGaming AB shares at SEK 1.0 which correspond to 10,750,000 shares.
