How Do Casino Providers Listen to Players?

How Do Casino Providers Listen to Players?Reading Time: 2 minutes

When it comes to gaming today, compared to many years ago, one of the striking improvements is the ability as a fan of the game to have some kind of control over the direction it takes. While, usually, this control is still dependent on many factors, the mere idea that posting opinions on social media – especially so if there are many similar ones – can actually influence the next instalment of the game. When it comes to online casino, this principle remains. Fans of gaming can send messages to the games developers to let them know what they might want to play or not want to play. This can be monitored through the number of players, the games they play, and also qualitatively on social media and other online forums. So, how have online casinos used audience information to become better?

Customer Service
It might seem obvious, but having a good amount of customer service options can be a huge distinguishing factor in choosing an online casino. Social media is one way in which fans can contact the providers of the games and, if done publicly, can begin discussions about favourite games, the best methods of cashing out, or even themes that people want to see done more. As well as social media, traditional methods of customer service and contact points are crucial. In fact, as casinoportalen.dk shows us, being able to contact someone in customer support is one of the six Danish regulations for online casino. These regulations help to ensure that a site offers the best possible experience for the player. So, to include the need for customer support in this shows that it is an incredibly important facet of a successful online casino.

Game Selection
The game selection and the ability to choose from a wider range is arguably one of the most important parts of an online casino’s offering. The greater the game selection, the more likely players will stick around and new players will find something they enjoy. These games can come from themes or branded elements that attract players, from video and audio content which provides something extra for players, or even from a type of gameplay. As medium.com shows, gamification is increasingly important. Gamification of online slots means that there are a wide range of extra elements associated with progressing through slot games, while live modes of these games mean that players are able to see a dealer in roulette, blackjack, baccarat and poker. Being able to see a live dealer could also be a factor as it shows a commitment to the latest streaming technology as well. Game selection could be the defining factor for players.

The two main aspects of a successful online casino are the range of games for players and the feeling that they are properly cared for. That’s why social media monitoring of what players like or dislike about games is important. As is the ability to hear from customers who might have something important to share with the provider.

Sandsoft on the rise as it bolsters portfolio with three new titles

A growing mobile publishing company brings titles from Latvia, Canada, and Brazil to market and is seeking more games to expand its global presence in hybrid casual.

Mobile powerhouse Sandsoft has signed three new games from developers in Latvia, Canada and Brazil, further expanding its portfolio of hybrid casual games.

Kolka Games’ Wizario, Rogue Harbour Game Studio’s Potions & Spells, and Izyplay Game Studio’s Iza’s Supermarket highlight Sandsoft’s commitment to supporting developers worldwide in creating mobile-first, free-to-play titles. All three games are now available, with several more in testing and scheduled for release in the coming months. With growing demand from third-party developers in the mobile gaming market, Sandsoft is actively seeking to publish more titles.

Over the past year, the company has made significant strides, expanding its team by 35%, with its staff now representing 30 different nationalities, and opening a new studio in Barcelona to enhance its global presence alongside existing offices in Shanghai and Helsinki, and its headquarters and studio in Riyadh. It has also forged strategic partnerships with NetEase and NEOM to further strengthen the gaming ecosystem in the MENA region. With the successful release of its RPG Pocket Necromancer in October 2024, the company aims to continue growing its portfolio.

Sandsoft is actively seeking partnerships with developers worldwide to bring innovative mobile games to a global audience. The company is particularly interested in hybrid-casual games that have already been tested in the market and demonstrated promising early metrics, such as strong initial player engagement and significant potential for growth.

Sandsoft’s publishing model is designed to provide support at every area of a game development whether it be funding, product management, data, or growth marketing. Funding is allocated based on milestone achievements, meaning that, as the game meets key performance metrics, additional investment is unlocked to help accelerate its growth. Sandsoft invites developers that have a project matching this criteria to reach out if they wish to discuss how a collaboration could bring their vision to life.

That was the case for Kolka Games, Rogue Harbour Game Studio and Izyplay Game Studio, with their respective games now comfortably established within the Sandsoft umbrella where they’re due to continue growing.

Action-adventure title Wizario was developed by the minds of emerging indie studio Kolka Games, based in Riga. Cosy witchcraft game Potions & Spells, and its enchanting art style, were created by Vancouver-based Rogue Harbour Game Studio, founded in 2020 by a collective of industry veterans. And last but not least, retail sim tycoon Iza’s Supermarket comes from award-winning Brazilian developer Izyplay Game Studio, which has been at the forefront of casual gaming since 2010 and seen its titles downloaded over 35 million times.

David Fernandez, CEO at Sandsoft, commented: “Launching Wizario, Potions & Spells, and Iza’s Supermarket marks an exciting step in expanding our portfolio with fresh and engaging experiences for players worldwide. We’re proud to keep expanding our network of partner studios that share our vision for high-quality, mobile-first gaming.”
