SQUARE ENIX® announced that the epic war between machine lifeforms and androids can be experienced like never before in NieR:Automata™ Game of the YoRHa Edition, for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and STEAM®.

NieR:Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition includes the award-winning, post-apocalyptic action role-playing game alongside exciting digital content, including the 3C3C1D119440927 Expansion DLC, four pod designs (Grimoire Weiss Pod, Retro Grey Pod Skin, Retro Red Pod Skin, and Cardboard Pod Skin) and the Machine Mask Accessory.

Players who purchase the PlayStation®4 system version will receive an all-new PlayStation®4 system Dynamic Theme, a set of 15 PlayStation™Network avatars featuring characters from the game, and the in-game Play Pod and amazarashi Pod skins. Those who purchase on STEAM will receive two new wallpapers and the in-game Valve Accessory.

Story of NieR:Automata

Invaders from another world attack without warning, unleashing their secret weapon: the machines. In the face of this insurmountable threat, the human race is driven from the earth and takes refuge on the moon.

The humans develop an army of android soldiers to fight back against the mechanical horde, but succeed only in slowing its advance. To break the deadlock, a new breed of android infantry is sent into the fray: the YoRHa squad.

In the forsaken wasteland below, the war between the machines and the androids rages on. A war that is soon to unveil the long-forgotten truth of this world…
